Sculptor's rings, in 925 silver, one evoking a half-sphere containing a stylized flower pistil, ring with geometric frieze, the other sculptural and abstract, certificate from the artist, one signed "M. Rozanès", circa 1980, provenance: former collection of the Argentine Ambassador
Sculptor Monique Rozanès experiments with the handling of materials and their translucency. Her sculptures reveal refined and abstract forms such as the sphere, the cube, the steles and the totems, with an appearance that is alternately torn or soft. Her jewelry imitates the branches and tormented forms of nature, explores raw minerals such as agate, amethyst, or quartz. In both cases, the external form interests her less than the heart of things.
